After spending the morning finally getting to see the National Art Gallery in Edinburgh, we finally headed back on the road to return to England. The drive was beautiful without the rain, and our last views of Scotland were a great end to the day.
We even caught a glimpse of this old Abbey just off the road in Jedburgh before leaving Scotland.
Even after trying to describe our trip, it is so hard to put into words what a great experience we had. We were so lucky with weather and with all that we got to experience. We both took pictures on our last night out the window of the bedroom at the Petersen's house so that we could remember it. The whole visit and all that we got to see just wanted to stay in our minds as long as possible. It was really amazing to experience so many new things with Caleb and to spend so much uninterrupted time together. I am so lucky to have him to spend my life with and take in the world with.
And seeing part of the world was such an amazing blessing.
