Family Photos

The fabulous Catie, took our photos a couple of weeks ago. We always love to have her do it, and it was nice to finally get some photos with Finn in them.
Here are some of my favorite.

Gavin's Baptism Weekend

We had a great weekend for Gavin's baptism. He was so excited for the big event and had done lots of thinking and planning about who he wanted to speak and help out. Everyone did such a great job. I can hardly believe that he is 8 years old and such a little grown up. He amazes me with his knowledge and understanding of things that are spiritual as well as the intellectual. I am sure he will continue to amaze me in these next few busy years.
He and Caleb looked so nice in their white before the baptism.
Though they also looked very handsome together in their suits.
He loved his gift from the Petersens.
It was a towel that was embroidered with his special date and a picture.
We had such a great weekend with all of the family that came into town and showed support for Gavin. He was also feeling the love from all of those that couldn't be here that day as well.
These guys really love to strut their stuff in their suits. Even when someone is sneaking in the photo to give them bunny ears.

Handsome Man Preview

We are getting ready for Gavin's baptism day this weekend. I got to take him out for a little photo shoot in honor of the big day. I can't believe how grown up he already is. It never ceases to surprise me.

Our Happy Easter

The boys had spring break the week before Easter. He had a fun staycation and as a result of all of our fun I didn't take many pictures. We did get to spend a little time getting ready for Easter. We even got the eggs decorated more than 12 hours in advance.
All of the boys loved it, and Finn was eager to get his hands on some egg dye for his first Easter.
Gavin spent a lot of time designing his very specific eggs. He is an art perfectionist.
 Caleb's mustache egg.
Finn even helped me with a few polka dots.
Every year the boys have to search the house for their Easter baskets. They really seem to love it. Henry especially enjoys the suspense of it. He had a great time helping everyone find theirs before he finally looked for his.
So excited for a chance to jump behind the couch for the basket.
Gavin and Wyatt were very amused that his basket was in the recycling bin.
Finn was still pretty sleepy through all of this egg business.
Sunday afternoon we had a great time hanging out with these other Cardons. The kids had a super fun egg hunt and score lots of candy.
Wyatt and Jaren were pretty content to find a couple eggs and call it done. The other kids were on a much larger quest.

After the egg hunt we all sat in the yard and enjoyed the sun. I really love this picture where it looks like Caleb and Finn are having hilarious conversations in opposite directions.
