Holly Jolly Christmas

We spent our Christmas in New Mexico with all of the Marshall Family this year. It was a great time and the first time that we have all been together in several years. I have 4 siblings and there are now 11 total grandkids, so it was perfect to be around all the excitement of Christmas. We didn't love the drive that much, but we made it there and back safely (with only one incident of a dead battery on the way home), so we are always grateful for that.
We had a new family picture taken to show the updated clan, and boy was that just as fun as pictures always are.
The most fun was trying to get a picture of the grandkids though. Alaina is the oldest at 15 and Sara is 6 months and the youngest, so there was quite a range of age and personality. This was the shot that we chose because you could actually see all of the kids, and really it was just hilarious. As in all occasions of photo taking, there were some tears shed.
One poor guy sits alone...
And the cute people who started the whole crazy thing... don't they look good? This was there first professional photograph since sometime which we think was in the 80s.
We had a good Christmas and Gavin has been lonely for Nana and Vatti and "all the kids" at their house.
