Happy Valentine's Crap

With the kitchen remodel we had a very busy and crazy Valentine's.

2nd graders were making boxes at home, so Henry spent a lot of time on Pinterest looking for the perfect idea. This is what he finally decided on, and it was pretty awesome. I told him the toilet lid should say "Valentine's Crap" but he said you can't say crap at school. Whoops.

 We had a super insane Saturday with Caleb at work and Marci working on the kitchen and trying to finish the backsplash tile in one day. There were a few moments of total insanity, including Wyatt wrapping a rope around his neck outside and having a very close call. By the time we sat down for dinner that night, we were all just relieved to have made it through the day and able to share in our tasty traditional valentines dinner.

 And even tho his heart shaping skills aren't perfect, I was very grateful that Caleb was around to help make the dinner and make us of the new countertops.
