A Quick Temple Trip to Las Vegas

At the very end of October, I left Caleb and the boys behind and headed to Las Vegas to go with Cheyenne to her first time in the Las Vegas LDS Temple.
Getting there was a super crazy and frustrating experience. I was able to get a buddy pass to get a flight down, but it turns out that having a buddy pass actually doesn't give you much chance of getting on a plane. After getting very close to getting a seat 4 times, I was finally pretty sure that I wasn't going to get to go, when I got the last seat on the last flight on Friday night. It was definetely an answer to prayer, both mine and Cheyenne's.
I finally made it and had a great weekend hanging out.
We started the day with a 5k that Cheyenne had helped plan, Dad, Morgan and I ran the race. It was a first for Morgan and he did great.
Tho by the end, he wasn't sure that it was so great.
They also had some fun carnival games... for all ages.
After some shopping and some great Mexican food, we headed to the temple and had a great experience. It was so nice to be with family and to share with Cheyenne in her excitement of new things and getting ready for her mission.
What a great girl! She is so much fun.
Looking like a missionary already.
And great time with a great sister.
